Diagram Management
To manage a diagram, you need to have admin access within your organisation. For particulars on creating and managing diagrams find more information here.
Levels of Access for Users
There are 4 levels of access a user can have to a diagram.
Level | Description | Purpose |
---|---|---|
Read only | Read only access is the most basic level of access to a diagram that there is. It will allow a user to view a diagram and the information of each node within the diagram. The user does not have permissions to change anything in the diagram. | Users with this permission are often not involved in the completion of nodes but should be able to view the status of the diagram. |
Partial Access (WIP - Available soon) | Users with the partial access level of access has the same permissions as a read-only user, with one difference. Partial access allows a user to edit the completed date field of a node in order to mark a node as completed. | This level should allow people who are responsible for completing the nodes to mark tasks as complete when they have done so. |
Shared Access (WIP - Available soon) | The shared access level of access is the same as the Partial Access level however, before being able to mark a task as complete, the user must enter a code unique to the user so that the system can record the specific user who is marking the task as complete. To set this up see Setting up Shared Access Diagrams | The shared access level is designed for the shared use of a device for people in the same visinity to mark nodes as complete. For a business, this might help when staff do not have access to an internet acceessible device and a shared device can be used instead. |
Full Access | The full access level provides users the ability to create and edit all fields within a node.Organisation Admins automatically have full access to all diagrams. | A diagram needs to be set up via the creation of nodes and users with the Full Access level of access are responsible for creating and maintaining diagrams for those who interact with it. This allows admins to delegate the management of diagrams to other users without having to provide admin level access to the system. |
